GETTING TO KNOW THE ONE YOU LOVE
Before your photography session even begins, we spend time getting to know the one who means the world to you.
Every pet has their own story. Some are cheeky and full of energy. Others are gentle old souls who would rather curl up beside you than chase a toy. Some have overcome incredible challenges, while others have been by your side through life's biggest milestones.
This is where we listen.
We'll chat about your pet's personality, the little quirks that make you smile, the moments you never want to forget, and the relationship you share together. These conversations help us create photographs that feel authentic because they're built around who your pet truly is, not just how they look.
We'll also talk about your home and where you imagine enjoying your artwork every day. Whether you dream of a statement piece that welcomes you home or a beautiful collection displayed where your family gathers most, we'll guide you through the options and provide honest advice on artwork styles, sizing and investment, so you feel completely comfortable before your session.
Every photography experience is thoughtfully planned by Lorraine personally, taking into account your pet's temperament, confidence and individual personality. Whether they're the life of the party or a little more reserved, everything is tailored to help them feel relaxed, safe and free to simply be themselves.

Chapter Two
WHERE THEIR PERSONALITY TAKES CENTRE STAGE
This is the day you've been waiting for.
From the moment you arrive, everything is about creating a calm, relaxed and enjoyable experience for both you and your pet. There are no expectations for them to perform.
More Than Just a Studio
There's no rushing because the light is disappearing. No checking the weather forecast. No worrying about wind, rain or unexpected distractions.
Instead, your pet has the freedom to simply settle in and be themselves.
They can explore, play, take a break, enjoy plenty of healthy treats (if Mum or Dad says it's okay!), soak up all the cuddles they're happy to accept, and discover that this isn't somewhere they need to perform.
It's somewhere they can simply be.
Over the past 20 years, Lorraine has photographed thousands of beloved pets, and that experience has taught her something incredibly valuable.
Every animal tells you when they're ready.
Sometimes it's a playful burst of zoomies across the studio.
Sometimes it's the quiet tilt of their head.
Sometimes it's the gentle way they lean into the person they love most.
Those moments can't be forced.
They can only be recognised.
That's why we never spend the session asking pets to perform. We spend it encouraging them, celebrating them, playing with them, making silly noises, scratching ears and bellies, handing out treats, laughing with their families, and patiently waiting for those beautiful little moments that reveal exactly who they are.
For those two hours, the rest of the world quietly disappears. There are no interruptions, no errands to run, nowhere else to be.
It's simply time spent celebrating the one(s) who give you so much unconditional love.

IT ALL COMES TOGETHER
Around a week after your photography session, we'll welcome you back for one of our favourite parts of the entire experience.
This is the first time you'll see your photographs.
It's often an emotional moment.
You'll laugh, you'll smile, and quite often there are a few happy tears as you see your pet's personality beautifully captured in a way you never imagined possible.
Together, we'll view a carefully curated collection of your very best photographs before designing artwork that's perfectly suited to your home and your family.
Using professional design software, we'll show you how your favourite photographs can look displayed on your own walls, allowing you to visualise the finished artwork before making any decisions. Our role is to guide you through the process, helping you choose the pieces that best tell your pet's story and will bring you joy every single day.
This is where your memories become something tangible.
Not photographs hidden away on a phone.
Not files forgotten on a hard drive.
But beautiful, handcrafted legacy artwork that celebrates the love you share and becomes part of your family's story for generations.
Your Artwork Order
As your artwork is individually designed and handcrafted especially for you, your order is placed during your Design Consultation. We recommend that everyone involved in the decision attends this appointment so you can enjoy the experience together.
Once you've fallen in love with your photographs and chosen the artwork that speaks to your heart, we'll finalise everything together during your Design Consultation.
For those who would appreciate a little more flexibility, we also offer interest-free payment plans, allowing you to invest in your family's legacy artwork in a way that feels comfortable for you.
Every piece we create is designed to be admired, loved and reconnected with for many years to come.

In summary after your dates are booked and confirmed

We post you out your booking confirmation welcome pack (with appointment card, map, general T&C) and we finalize your planning consultation with you. It is important that we understand all about the personality of your fur-kids, what is important to capture for you, as well as where your wall art will be displayed in your home.

Then together we complete your studio session with award winning photographer Lorraine Charlecrafte.

Then we select and prepare the best of the best photographs from your studio session.

Your ordering and design consultation is then completed with you. We present those best photographs and provide you with professional advice on wall art display options to suit your home. Your order is placed at this consultation.

We then prepare, edit, review and quality check your Wall Art order and forward to our professional print lab suppliers for printing and framing.

The cost of Wall Art is not included in your Studio Session Booking Fee. Prices vary depending on your selection. Please call us for further information and prices. Copyright of all photographs remains the property of Zoo Studio.

Please note when booking in your studio session, Zoo Studio generally accommodate one or two dogs or one or two cats in each session. If you would like more than two animals per shoot, please call us to discuss your requirements.
