1. Applicants understand that they are applying for a unique opportunity for their pet or pets to be photographed and featured in a limited edition coffee table book, produced and published by Zoo Studio – Animal Art Photography.
2. Submission of application does not necessarily guarantee participation. Zoo Studio is looking for 200 pets to be featured in this exclusive book and demand is high.
3. There is a limit of EITHER two dogs or two cats in the studio. Cats and Dog’s together will not be photographed in the same studio session.
4. You will be notified by phone and/or email as to the outcome of your application.
5. Upon approval you will be contacted by Zoo Studio to make an appointment for your photographic session. All sessions are conducted in our studio based in Chapel Hill. Images are either on our Black or White backdrop in a style that is in keeping with Zoo Studio’s unique photography style. See our website gallery for samples.
6. You will be required to confirm your participation and appointment with payment of the $75.00 participation fee. Your participation fee is 100% donated to RSPCA QLD. Zoo Studio is RSPCA QLD’s official photography partner and have raised and donated many thousands of dollars to help animals in need. Your participation in this book will help raise thousands more for this very worthwhile charity.
7. During the portrait session it is preferred that both owners of your pets (if applicable) attend the session, as this will give us a greater range of images to choose from for the book. The image chosen for the book will be a surprise and not be disclosed to you until the official launch of the book.
8. After the portrait session and on another date, you will be given the chance to come back and view the images that were taken. At this time you may choose to order for yourself some of these gorgeous images.
9. All pets photographed will be featured in the book.
10. IMPORTANT! Please note if you have applied for two dogs to be included in the Tail (Tales) book, you must attend your session with a 2nd person (e.g. your partner or a friend) to assist in managing your pets in the studio session.
11. Zoo Studio will be in contact with you at a later date to give you the opportunity to pre-order (order now-pay later) your own exclusive copy of the “Tail” book. This will be a limited edition hard cover coffee table book.
12. The information provided by you to Zoo Studio, will be used for screening applicants and from time to time sending you information on Zoo Studio products and special promotions. Your contact details will be sent to RSPCA QLD for donation processing. Details will not be passed onto any other party
13. The all images taken from your studio session will remain the property of Zoo Studio Pty Ltd and are subject to copyright laws. Zoo Studio have the right to use and reuse, in any manner at all, said photographs, in whole or in part, modified or altered, either by themselves or in conjunction with other photographs, in any medium or form of distribution, and for any purposes whatsoever, including, without limitation, for the Zoo Studio Tails book, all promotional and advertising uses and other trade purposes. Zoo Studio are also authorised to use your pet’s name in connection with the Tail book or books. We/I the applicant(s) understand we will not be paid any royalty or receive any form of payment in return for images that are used for these or any other purpose.

Please Note that Dogs and Cats together in the same session will NOT be photographed. If you are registering two pets these must reside in the same household.
