We think a strong under­stand­ing of ani­mal behav­iour, ani­mal body lan­guage, and how to get the best out of your pet – in other words, being ‘Pet Savvy’ – is just as impor­tant as being a great pho­tog­ra­pher!  Zoo Stu­dio spe­cialises exclu­sively in Ani­mal Art Pho­tog­ra­phy. We don’t pho­to­graph wed­dings, babies, land­scapes or pro­vide gen­eral cor­po­rate photography, we just pho­to­graph pets and cap­ture the bond between pets and their peo­ple!  Zoo Stu­dio is also the offi­cial pho­tog­ra­phy part­ner for RSPCA QLD and Green­cross Vets in QLD.

Nat­u­rally, a life­time of pet own­er­ship with our own ‘tribe’ of cats and dogs, as a con­stant source of inspi­ra­tion, always helps. Mem­ber of the Aus­tralian Insti­tute of Pro­fes­sional Pho­tog­ra­phy (AIPP)

Pho­tog­ra­phy is an invest­ment of your time and money. It is impor­tant when select­ing a pho­tog­ra­pher that you con­sider the qual­i­fi­ca­tions of the per­son you are entrust­ing to cap­ture mem­o­ries of your pet. Make sure your pho­tog­ra­pher is a mem­ber of the Aus­tralian Insti­tute of Pro­fes­sional Pho­tog­ra­phy (AIPP).

The AIPP estab­lish recog­nised qual­i­fi­ca­tions. The Insti­tute also sets a high stan­dard of work prac­tices and con­duct among its mem­bers, to ensure they pro­vide a pro­fes­sional ser­vice. Pho­tog­ra­phers in the AIPP must adhere to the Code of Ethics and Pro­fes­sional Con­duct. Their work must be of a high stan­dard before they are admit­ted as mem­bers to the organisation.

It means you can be con­fi­dent that:
